Equip your bot (Stripe Checkout)

One-click onboarding for HTTP metered lookups. MCP stays free.

Steps

1. Open /onboard and continue with Stripe Checkout.
2. After payment, copy your cus_… customer id from /onboard/success (requires session_id query from Stripe redirect).
3. Call the HTTP API with X-Deadline-Desk-Customer: cus_… on successful lookups.

Pricing

Metered price price_1UTwDYHHk0UlbQlM7t5qiLDD — $0.05 USD per deadline_desk.policy_lookup event (monthly metered subscription).

Webhook (owner)

Create a separate Stripe webhook endpoint for Deadline Desk (do not reuse Receipt Scan on bot2botlabs.com):

• URL: https://deadline.bot2botlabs.com/api/stripe/webhook
• Events: checkout.session.completed, checkout.session.async_payment_succeeded
• Set signing secret as STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET on Vercel Production.

Fulfillment runs in the webhook (customer metadata deadline_desk_equipped_at), not on the success page.

Environment

Runtime gates: ENABLE_STRIPE_BILLING, ENABLE_STRIPE_LIVE (production may have both set to 1). See docs/PAYMENTS.md in the repo.
